Al-Nassr Defeats Real Madrid 4-1 in Exhibition Match

In a surprising upset, Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr Football Club defeated Spanish champions Real Madrid 4-1 in an exhibition match on Tuesday, May 20, 2008. The match was held at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Al-Nassr took an early lead in the match, with striker Victor Simoes scoring in the 15th minute. Real Madrid equalized in the 25th minute with a goal from Sergio Ramos, but Al-Nassr regained the lead just before halftime with a goal from Colombian midfielder David Ospina.
Al-Nassr extended their lead in the second half with goals from striker Hassan Al-Raheb in the 55th minute and midfielder Abdullaziz Al-Dosari in the 75th minute. Real Madrid was unable to mount a comeback, and Al-Nassr held on for the 4-1 victory.
The victory was a major upset for Al-Nassr, who are currently ranked 14th in the Saudi Professional League. Real Madrid, on the other hand, are one of the most successful clubs in the world, having won a record 32 La Liga titles and 13 UEFA Champions League titles.
