Seremban Accident: Five Killed, Several Injured in Horrific Crash

Five people were killed and several others injured in a horrific accident in Seremban on Thursday (16 Feb).

The accident occurred at around 12.30pm along the North-South Expressway near the Seremban toll plaza.

According to initial investigations, a trailer truck heading towards the south lost control and crashed into several vehicles.

The impact of the crash caused the trailer truck to overturn, spilling its cargo of logs onto the road.

The accident caused a massive traffic jam along the highway, stretching for several kilometers.

Emergency responders from the Fire and Rescue Department, the police, and the Civil Defense Force were deployed to the scene to extricate the victims and clear the wreckage.

The identities of the victims have yet to be released.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

The police have advised motorists to use alternative routes to avoid the affected area.
